International Club & Intercultural Discussions

International Club

The International Club is a student club that organizes activities for all students and aims to provide a global platform for communication, networking, and increased mutual understanding. The NYU School of Professional Studies International Student Support Center (ISSC) supports, oversees, and facilitates International Club initiatives. Please like the club on Facebook (facebook.com/SPSInternationalClub) to follow events and important announcements.

Elections for the Executive Board are held each April.

Intercultural Discussions

The ISSC hosts free, intercultural discussions on topics of interest that offer students a chance to talk about their different cultural perspectives in a welcoming environment. A guest speaker starts by discussing one aspect of culture and then encourages different students to contribute their viewpoints to foster mutual understanding. In the past, topics have included Americans' Relationships with Animals and Working in a Multicultural Environment. All matriculated students who are enrolled in the NYU School of Professional Studies are encouraged to attend.
