ORIENTATION
Before classes begin each Fall, Spring, and Summer semester, the SCPS Office of Undergraduate
Student Life sponsors New Student Orientations. The goal of orientation is to introduce students to
New York University, SCPS, their academic programs, academic resources and policies, and, most
importantly, to one another.
All new undergraduate students are encouraged to attend orientation.

NYU also hosts a variety of events for new students, including “Welcome Week” activities. For
