BACHELOR'S AND ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE APPLICATION CRITERIA

Academic potential is evaluated based on a combination of evidence of previous college-level coursework or scores on a standardized exam called the College Board Accuplacer. In cases where applicants have never attended college, an SAT score, or the College Board Accuplacer, is required. Work experience and creative accomplishments are also considered, along with the Personal Statement/Essay, and letters of reference.

The Admissions Committee reviews your academic potential in one of three ways:

  • SAT Scores—You may submit SAT scores if you have never attended college.
  • College Credits—If you have attended college in the past five years and have accrued at least 15 credits, you may submit college transcripts for review. If you have a 2.75 cumulative GPA for the last 15 credits you may be waived from the Admissions Exam.
  • Admissions Exam—All other applicants are required to take the Admissions Exam.
