2009 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

On Monday, June 1, our luncheon speaker was Jamie Dimon, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, JPMorgan Chase. On Tuesday, June 2, Conference Chair Jonathan M. Tisch addressed the impact of the volatile global economy on the lodging industry in his Beyond the Boardroom interview with MSNBC Anchor Chris Matthews. Dean Lalia Rach dialogued with top CEOs and discussed leadership and strategy in challenging times in our CEO Interviews – Leadership Lessons. The IREFAC C. Everett Johnson Award recipient was James M. Sullivan, Executive Vice President, Lodging Development, Marriott International, Inc. and Lodging Hospitality Magazine's Stephen W. Brener Silver Plate Award recipient was Stevan Porter, President of the Americas, InterContinental Hotels Group (posthumously).
